Occasionally, you may need to unlock a student's access to a study path. The next study path in the sequence may not have been unlocked automatically, or you may know that the student is ready to move on, even if they have not reached the required score in their EdReady Study path.
Note: Please recommend to your students that they do not allow their sessions to time out, but instead log out explicitly each time they are done using the system. This may prevent some cases of study paths not unlocking automatically as expected.
You can manually unlock them by following these steps.
- Visit the Group Summary Report: select a Goal and click the Run Report button
- Click the Edit Mode button above the table
- Click the 'locked' icon (closed padlock) for any study path that should be unlocked: you'll see it switch to the 'unlocked' icon (open padlock) and the cell will be highlighted in blue
- Similarly, click any 'unlocked' icon (open padlock) to lock a study path.
- Click the Save button to save changes: the study path is now unlocked and available for the student to work in.
